Tourism and Travel Law is one of the newest specializations of law in Latin America and its development plays a fundamental role in one of the most important economic activities in the world.
Taking into account the enormous importance of tourism as an industry and relevance of the law as a tool, the organizers have conceived this event as an academic opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences, viewpoints and proposals concerning tourism law.
For that purpose, the Conference will offer several lectures about different aspects involved in this area. Such lectures will be given by renowned speakers from different Universities and organisms from Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Nicaragua, Chile, Uruguay, and Argentina, among others. They will deal with the most important legal matters in connection with the tourism activity. At the same time, the related commercial activities will be dealt with by speakers from different Associations, travel agencies, airlines, hotels and cruiser lines, who will provide an overview of the present problems of the industry. As a consequence, the Conference will be practice oriented.
The conference has been declared of “National Tourism Interest” by the Government of Argentina, and will be held in the frame of the aims of the WTO - IFTTA Agreement, promoting the knowledge of the tourism and travel law.
